What’s in our wine? A whole year. 365 days of risk and luck, success and failure, sunburn and campfires, cheese and grazed knees, love and kids, dogs and roosters, the seasons and the land, good food and good times, passion and grapes.

WE MAKE

WINE.

Year Wines is a celebration of the slow way of living. A life of seasonal abundance, capturing a snap shot of time and place. We live on a small acreage on Kaurna Country, south of the Willunga township with our two children. We draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape born of an ancient geology, surrounded by historic vineyards, almond and olive groves. We aim to produce wines with interest, integrity and provenance, that showcase the year that shaped them.

Our life is about living abundantly, enjoying things that take time to create and the beauty in the process. We grow most of our food, raise our own meat, and shop as locally as we can. We spend time nurturing our children, our property, making our own cheese, and drinking good wine. We live the good life. And what ends up in the bottle, is a snapshot of that life. A year in the vineyard. Seasonal change. The history of the land. A year. Bottled.
